We Serve Our Community

Help Katrina Evauees!

Habitat for Humanity.......In partnership with the Habitat for Humanity organization we work with area churches and businesses, to build one new house each year for a qualified new homeowner.

DeSiard Street Mission...Members of United Methodist Men cook and serve one meal per month at the DeSiard Street Mission.

Communion Beans...Church members are asked to bring a bag of beans with them to the altar on Communion Sunday. Beans are then donated to the Rays of Sonshine Ministry in Monroe.

Angel Tree Project...Each Christmas church members buy and wrap Christmas gifts for needy children in our community.

Day School

Youth Pantry Raid... Each fall St. Paul's UMYF hold a pantry raid, going to homes of our members and asking for donations of canned goods and staples which are then donated to the local Salvation Army.

Salvation Army...the youth also cook and serve a meal at our local Salvation Army.

Boy Scouts...St. Paul's is home to Scout Troup 321.
