Register in August! -Fall Learning Options at St. Paul’s

Are you looking for ways to strengthen your faith and increase your knowledge in God’s Word?  If so, volunteers and staff are committed to providing many options for spiritual growth beginning in September.  Prayerfully consider enrolling in one or more of these classes.  You will be tremendously blessed!  Paid childcare will be provided.  Call the church office for more information or to sign up for a class.

 

Disciple I This class is open to Sr. High youth through adults and will meet on Monday nights beginning September 10.  This is a 34-week in-depth Bible study that provides an overview of the entire Bible.  It requires about 45-50 minutes of study daily.  Margo and Chuck Morgan will teach this class.

 

Why Good Things Happen to Good People – This class will be a book study to be led by J. Roddy Taylor and Jeff Mouk.  This study will explore the exciting new research that proves the link between doing good and living a longer, healthier, happier life.  This class will meet on Monday evenings.  Contact:  Rev. Financial Peace - Paula Napper will begin leading Financial Peace in September for up to 5 families.  This program is a step-by-step guide to restoring your family’s financial health.  The author of Financial Peace is Dave Ramsey.  This group will meet on Monday nights beginning September 10.

 

Healing Foods from the Bible – Linda Taylor will lead this class that will explore foods from the Bible and how they relate to our health.  This class will meet on Monday nights beginning September 10 for 4 weeks.

 

Active Parenting This class is for parents of children age 7-12.  It will offer parents sound, practical advice on parenting.  The group will meet on Monday evenings for 3 weeks beginning September 17. 

 

Beth Moore Bible Study – “The Patriarchs” This is an 11 week study on Monday nights at 6:30.  Contact:  Jill Mouk

 

Beth Moore Book Study – Breaking Free This will be a 7-week class lead by Lynn Shipp on Thursdays at 11:30am.  Contact:  Jill Mouk

 

Beth Moore Bible Study – Margaret Ann King will facilitate a group to do an 11-week Beth Moore Bible study.  The group will meet on Thursdays at 11:30 for 11 weeks beginning September 6.

 

Youth Bible Study – Meet with Youth Director, Ben Nicholson, and his wife Angie on Wednesdays at 6:00 to learn more about the Bible.  You will read Scriptures to learn more about the people of the Bible and important Bible truths.  Contact:  Ben Nicholson

 

Bible Extreme -             Bible 201, or Bible Extreme, is the new Wednesday night class for 5th and 6th graders.  This group will play Jeopardy and other games, do Bible drills, and earn “stick” money for prizes.  The class begins on Wednesday, August 22.  Join us for dinner at 5:15 followed by class at 6:00.  All 5th and 6th graders are encouraged to attend and bring a friend.  This class will be taught by Misti Hajj and Tricia Nolan.

Bible 101 – Hey kids!  Join Jill Mouk on Wednesdays from 6:00-6:30 to do Bible drills, memorize important lists from the Bible, explore where we find the “big” stories in the Bible and play Bible Jeopardy!  It’s a great way for children to dig a little deeper into the Bible.  This class is for children in 2nd – 4th grade.
