Child
Care
When
a baby arrives, a member visits the family and presents them with the book A
BABY IS FOR LOVING and a certificate enrolling him/her in the crib nursery.
Nursery children and pre-school age children are provided for by trained
and dedicated workers for Sunday School and all worship services, as well as
many other events the church offers. Rotation Sunday SchoolChildren rotate to a different workshop each Sunday during a four to six week unit. In each workshop, a unit's concept is related to Bible stories through various activities. The rotations we use at St. Paul's are Bible story,
Summer Programs
There
are several opportunities for children of all ages to be active.
Our highlight each summer is Vacation Bible School, which is held in June
for children currently in the two-year-old group through the fifth grade. In
addition, we encourage our children to attend church camp at Caney Lake. Infant BaptismShould
you desire to have your infant baptized, contact the office or one of the
ministers. All baptisms are
scheduled through the office in order to coordinate appropriate Sundays and the
officiating minister. Children's SermonOn
all Sundays other that the first of each month, one of the ministers invites all
children down to the altar to hear a brief message designed especially for them
during Worship Service. Day
School
During the school year, St. Paul's offers a day school for children in our church and community. We have classes for Three-Year-Olds on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and Four-Year-Olds daily. There is one class of Three Year Olds on Monday-Friday. Chapel is held every Wednesday morning. In addition, "The Lunch Bunch" provides afternoon care on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 11:30 - 2:30. Click on the link above for more information about St. Paul's Day School programs. Mother's
Day Out Program On
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 A.M. to 2:15 P.M. we offer a Mother's
Day Out program for 1-Year-Olds (walking) through pre-school age children.
This program is for our members and for others in the community.
The Mother's Day Out Program Director is assisted by a capable dedicated
staff. During the school year, elementary school children enjoy snacks and games after school hours, then are tutored by certified teachers. After School Tutoring hours are from 3:30-6:00. |
