Mountain Top 2005
On June 9, a
group of 8 youth and 2 adults will travel to the mountains of Tennessee to be in
mission with the people of the Appalachian Mountain area. The group will work
by building, painting, and cleaning for people in and around their camp area.
Ben Nicholson, St. Paul’s new Youth Director, and David Roane will serve as
chaperones. Youth attending are Emily Napper, Joel Roane, Brittany Burkett,
Josh Vining, Sarah Hardin, Thomas Henry, Erin Morgan, and Aaron Moore.
This year we
are excited to have one of our own youth, Cole Napper, to serve on staff for the
Mountain TOP organization. He will leave on May 26 and return on August 3.
Please keep Cole, as well as the other youth and adults, in your prayers as he
serves in mission. The Commissioning Service for the group will be held during
the 11:00 worship service on July 3.
Please be in
prayer for all youth and adults on this mission trip!
